I am selling an authentic copy of this Confederate Officerser's Civil War sabre in original size.
It has an 83 cms./33" carbon steel slightly curved blade with eleborate engraving with CSA in the centre.
It has a leather and twisted wire wrapped grip and a brass handguard finely pierced including the letters "CS".
The engraving is identical on both sides of the blade.
The steel scabbard with brass furniture is 90 cms./35.5" long.
Overall length of sword with scabbard is 105 cms/41.5",total weight : 2 kgs./4.5 lbs.
