We are offering an excellent copy of a Roman shield boss, made after a sample found on River Tyne in England.
Historians date the original to be from the 2nd century AD.
Outside dimensions: 24.5 cms x 27.5 cms. (9.5" x 11").
The boss itself is 6 cms./2.1/4" deep and has a 12 cms./4.3/4" diameter.
It is made from 1mm steel.
Weight : approx. 500g / 1 lb.
